Can I pay the office visit with my insurance?
No, we are a cash based office only. This helps to be able to provide the best and most thorough quality of care in a timely fashion. You can contact your insurance for possible reimbursements for your office visits.
What disorders do you treat other than Opioids use disorder?
Treatment of polysubstances: methamphetamines, cocaine, benzodiazepine, alcohol can all be addressed and treated.
Will I need to see a psychiatrist?
Not necessarily. A thorough evaluation including lab tests will help identify existing chemical and metabolic imbalances. As we optimize your health we will continue to take further steps in your journey to recovery. Mental health is extremely important to take care of and you might be referred to mental counseling.
Do I need to be in withdrawal for the first visit?
If you are coming off opioids such as: Vicodin, Percocet, Fentanyl, or Heroin, you need to be in a certain degree of withdrawal. REDUCTION of physical and mental withdrawals can be done through the use of the 'Bridge device' (peripheral nerve stimulator). Symptoms can be reduced to a minimum with in 15-30 minutes. We will also provide other medications which can further decrease unpleasant symptoms such as nausea,
diarrhea, muscle cramps, anxiety, tremors etc.
Can I continue to go to school or work as I am getting treated?
The severity of your disease will determine this. Everything we do is geared to optimize your health in a timely manner. It all depends on your commitment and willingness to move forward.
