The treatment of all substance use disorders depends on your individual physical and mental health. A thorough baseline evaluation will be done and treatment options can be analyzed and chosen.

Medications

Opioid use Disorder is treated with buprenorphine, naltrexone, Vivitrol or a combination of these. (This clinic does not offer treatment with Methadone).

Alcohol use Disorder is treated with Naltrexone, Vivitrol, acamprosate or Disulfiram depending on where you are in your journey to sobriety and health.  Other adjuvant therapy can be considered according to your need.

Benzodiazepine, methamphetamine and cocaine use disorder is treated by understanding where you are in the substance use and developing a plan that is specific to the patients needs.

Hormonal Evaluation and treatment

Hormonal imbalance is commonly found in substance use disorder making it hard for you to find balance and feeling of well-being mentally or physically.

Measurement of the different hormones and evaluation and optimization of your needs can lead to a prompter recovery and obtainment of your health goals.

Chronic Pain and other Underlying Medical Problems

Taking care of one problem while ignoring the rest of the body is like putting a band-aid on a broken limb.

Pain can be physical, mental or emotional.  When and if necessary, we will recommend psychiatric evaluation and support. We are committed to offer you a caring and supportive environment allowing you to remodel yourself as you choose your path to excellence.

Physical pain is very common in substance use disorder. Nutrition, supplements, exercise, antidepressants, muscle relaxants, hormones and other prescription medications are some of the resources in the treatment of pain.

At House of Clay, we can treat many medical conditions. The optimization of chronic pain and hormonal imbalance will help you achieve and maintain a “Better you” much sooner. However, you may continue to see your primary care physician and/or different subspecialties for other medical conditions (hypertension, diabetes, thyroid problems, pancreatitis, etc.).
